Nina Canel and Rolf Julius at Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin
Gepubliceerd op: 22 February 2013
Two little loudspeakers floating in two small white ceramic bowls, filled with water on the floor, govern the viewer's first impression of the carefully arranged exhibition ‘Lautlos' that brings together the work of two artists that never met personally - Nina Canel and Rolf Julius. Julius, born in 1939 in Germany, died in 2011, after having spent a large part of his artistic career investigating the inherent music and sounds of objects. The Swedish conceptual artist Canel lives and works in Berlin.
